What would Halloween be without a haunting?

These Chambers of Horror aren't a treat...or a trick. They are meant to motivate you to act on behalf of animals. Because real life is not only stranger than fiction -- it's more horrific than horror novels and more ghastly than ghost stories.

Ghoulishly good ways to inform people about animal rights issues...

If you company celebrates Halloween with fun activities for their employees, view it as an opportunity to spread a pro-animal message. For example, a few years ago as part of the Halloween Festivities my company held a pumpkins decorating contest. This was my submission...

The sign reads:

In loving memory of
Peta Pumpkin Head...
She wouldn't be caught DEAD in FUR.

I won a prize* AND shared a message. (*Scariest Pumpkin Design Category; the truth about fur IS pretty scary.)

If your company hosts a costume contest, you might also consider dressing in an animal rights (or wrongs as the case may be) costume. One idea I had was to dress as an elephant in foot and wrist shackles with a circus sign on my back. You get the idea...
